چکیده

The consumption of fresh-cut pomegranate fruits (arils) has risen recently due to their bioactive compounds and benefits for consumers. However, arils have a limited shelf-life vastly lose valuable compounds. Therefore, in this study, we investigated the effects exogenous postharvest treatment with salicylic acid (SA), methyl Jasmonate (MeJA), combination on chemical composition under refrigerated storage (5 °C 90 ± 2% relative humidity) 15 days. results indicated that individual or combined application SA at 2 mM + MeJA 0.5 decreased weight loss, respiration rate, hue angle (h°), soluble solids content (SSC) compared control. All treatments maintained vitamin C, titratable acidity (TA), anthocyanin content, flavonoids, phenolic compounds, antioxidant capacity cold conditions was more effective than application. In conclusion, could be applied during preparation maintaining quality
